Azienda Agricola Rinaldi is located in Piedmont, in the hilly region of Alba, in Madonna di Como, an area of Langhe which is particularly suitable for the cultivation of vines.
During the Roman Age, the name “Como” indicated a group of young people dancing to celebrate Bacchus, the God of Wine. Since 1920, generations of the Rinaldi family have been producing wine here. Starting with great-grandparents Pietro and Paolo, followed by grandfather Costanzo Rinaldi.
Today the estate is in the very capable hands of the husband and wife team, Paolo Tenino and Monica Rinaldi. Together they continue the family tradition of producing true and distinct character Piedmontese wines from the local noble varietals: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto and Moscato.
Barbaresco San Cristoforo 2008 is being released as an In-Store-Discovery in select Vintages locations on July 6, LCBO#184911, $45.95
